DIY St. Patrick’s Day Banner Instructions

STEP 1: Separate the Shamrocks

Your first step is to remove the shamrocks from the ribbon that’s holding them all together.

Simply pull the tape and ribbon off the back and then set them aside.

I didn’t end up using the top hat piece that says “Welcome” on it, but you could use that for a different project if you wanted!

STEP 2: Glue Shamrocks on Burlap

Next, use a glue gun to glue a shamrock on each of the fishtail burlap pieces.

I recommend putting glue all along the outer edge of the shamrock and then a small bit in the middle as well.

You want to make sure they’re solidly adhered.

Continue this until all the burlap fishtail pieces have a shamrock on them.

STEP 3: Lace the Twine

The final step is to lace the twine through each of burlap fishtail banner pieces and then tie a loop at each end of the string.

I recommend threading it so the twine shows on the front of each banner piece, but you could do it either way.

One thing I loved about using the pre-made banner was that the burlap pieces had nice grommets on the holes making the threading super easy.

Now hang your banner and enjoy!

Super cute, right?!
