Front Door Refresh Reveal!

I love a good inspirational blog post. And even better is one I write that makes ME do something! πŸ˜‰ Like last week’s post – I wrote it on Tuesday and painted my door on Wednesday! Seriously guys, that purple paint had been sitting in my garage for months… I just needed a little push to get me to do it and encouraging you all to update your doors got mine done too!

I. Love. It.

So, here it is – my refreshed door and front stoop. If I’m going to be honest, this area of the house is a bit neglected. Primarily because I never see it. We always enter the house through the garage, so I rarely go through the front door… and every time I do, I think, “Wow, this isn’t very welcoming. I should give this area a little love.” Haha. Oh well! There will always be something to do and with the busy season we’re in, I can’t get to it all! But I did have time to love on the front door a bit this week. πŸ™‚

Let’s start with some before pictures:

Chris installed a new door with windows when we did the kitchen remodel and since then, we’ve done nothing to update this area… This refresh involved painting the door, adding a mat, greenery, and a few decor items. Super easy for a great new look!

Have I ever mentioned that purple is my favorite color? If not, there you have it. I love purple! Especially with green tones. πŸ™‚

And, because they’re my favorite, a little before/after view side-by-side. πŸ˜‰

Fun, right?! It makes me happy. πŸ˜‰

In other news, we’re almost done with the back deck makeover!! Chris installed the countertop tonight (it’s AMAZING!) and I started painting the legs. After that, it’s just a matter of cleaning it up and taking some pictures for the big reveal post! We have a large group of friends camping at our house this weekend so I’m guessing it will be next week sometime. Stay tuned and have a fabulous week!
